Bowker have a dedicated in-house DGSA team. Their core responsibilities include advising on the safe transport of dangerous goods, monitoring compliance with dangerous goods regulations, investigating any infringements of regulation and monitoring the delivery of training for Bowker employees involved in the transport of hazardous goods.

Since 2001, companies who transport hazardous goods have been required to appoint a Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) in order to comply with the requirements of ADR and the associated UK Regulations
