Bowker’s Knowsley Distribution Centre is an Upper Tier COMAH site and holds a MHRA VMD Wholesale Dealers Licence, an AMI Licence and a Human Pharmaceutical API License. Additionally, our Knowsley site has been accredited BRC food grade warehousing. The warehouse operation, consisting of 18,000 pallet locations, adheres to Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
The site holds a variety of pharmaceutical products for human and animal treatment. These products include bulk raw materials/ingredients, over the counter (OTC) medicines and pharmaceutical packaging for leading UK manufacturers and who retail around the world.
The site employs a Quality Assurance team to ensure full regulatory compliance; the operation is supported by industry leading technology to ensure full stock visibility and end-to-end traceability.
BRC Status - Food Grade Storage
Our Knowsley Distribution Centre has achieved BRC Status, further enhancing and strengthening our food grade warehouse solutions. This accreditation has increased our foods grade warehousing to over 89,000 racked pallet locations, combined with block stack and bulk food grade storage facilities.
Through industry leading technology, customers have full track and trace of their goods through the supply chain process.
