HGV Technician

The warehousing portfolio comprises of over 1,500,000 ft2 of storage facilities which specialise within regulated industries (Food, Chemical and Pharmaceutical).

We're now looking to expand our vehicle maintenance department. You will be part of a small team, maintaining a diverse range of equipment to DVSA standards.

What we're looking for

Fully Qualified LGV Technician
HGV level 3 Min qualification
Knowledge of IT and Diagnostic Systems
Electrical and diagnostic skills
Fabrication Skills advantage
Flexible approach to a job as a whole

Key Tasks
To undertake maintenance and servicing of vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
Undertake the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures.
Complete all relevant administration and documentation to the correct standard. (Service sheets, Job cards).
Report inspect and document findings and faults to equipment on a daily basis and throughout the course of the working day.
To be flexible in approach to the role as a whole.
Assist in the improvement & development of the workshop operation.
Work and communicate well as part of a small team.

Shift pattern
7.00 to 5.00/ 8.00 to 18.00

Salary
Starting from £45,000 PA
