Due to continued expansion, we are seeking Transport Planner to join our team in Hull.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised Transport Planner to join our operations team in Hull. Our Hull depot supports a large UK transport and warehousing operation, alongside our international services. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating collections and deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with drivers and customers, always ensuring excellent communication and full compliance with transport regulations. Strong customer service skills are essential to maintaining high standards across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & co-ordinating daily transport routes and schedules using our Transport Management System.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in all transport activities.

Required / preferred qualifications:

• Ideal experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with transport management systems ideal but not essential.
