Bowker's 2023 Golf Day at Preston Golf Club: A Huge Success

On Sunday 7th May, Bowker held its annual golf day at the beautiful Preston Golf Club. This year's event was attended by 62 players, who came from far and wide to take part in a day of golf, fun, and ‘friendly’ competition.

The sun was shining down on the golf course, and the weather couldn't have been better for a round of golf. The players were excited and eager to get started, and they certainly did not disappoint.

The day saw some excellent golf being played, with players showing off their skills and abilities on the course. The longest drive competition was won by Matthew Gee, who wowed everyone with 300+ yard drive on the 18th. Meanwhile, Matthew Leak won the nearest the pin contest with an incredible shot on hole 14.

But it was the winning team that took home the top prize. Congratulations to John Knight, George Traynor, Mark Christopher, and Matt Tinsley for their fantastic performance on the course and for coming out on top.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Andrew Greenbank and the team at Preston Golf Club for organising such a brilliant event. The course was in fantastic condition, and the facilities as always were first-rate, making it the perfect venue for our golf day.

The day was not just about golf; it was also an opportunity for players to network and connect with colleagues they wouldn’t normally meet.
