Chem UK 2023 - Bowker support the 'Future of Logistics' Feature Zone

Chem UK, the UK's largest event for the chemical industry, was held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham from 10-11th May 2023. The event brought together industry leaders, professionals, and experts to discuss the latest innovations, trends, and challenges in the chemical sector. Among the highlights of this year's event was the feature zone "The Future of Logistics", where visitors had the opportunity to see the latest equipment and technologies ‘in the flesh’.

Bowker were proud to support "The Future of Logistics" feature zone in conjunction with the Chemical Business Association (CBA). Bowker supported the zone by supplying the latest Volvo turbo compound iSave tractor unit, which is designed to be more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly. The tractor unit uses innovative technology that captures and reuses waste energy from the engine, reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

In addition to the turbo compound iSave tractor unit, working with Volvo UK and Linde we supplied a Volvo electric tractor unit and a lithium-ion battery forklift truck for the feature zone. Visitors had the opportunity to see these innovative logistics solutions in action and understand how they can improve their supply chain's efficiency.

Bowker were proud to support the Chemical Business Association, The voice of the chemical supply chain, who are celebrating their 100-year anniversary.

Overall, Chem UK 2023 was a great success, with over 300 exhibitors and more than 3,000 visitors from across the chemical industry. Bowker were proud to play a small part of the event and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for the chemical industry and how events like Chem UK will continue to drive innovation, progress, and collaboration.
