Bowker have been named the winner of the Transport & Logistics Award at the Red Rose Awards 2026.

The event, held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, brought together companies of all sizes from across Lancashire to recognise outstanding business performance, innovation and contribution to the region.

The award stands as a proud moment for the business, recognising the dedication and expertise of the team at Bowker. The judging panel commended the organisation’s strong operational performance, commitment to high‑quality service delivery and investment in continuous improvement.

Bowker’s connection to Lancashire runs deep. Founded in 1919, the company began with just a single vehicle operating out of Blackburn, marking the start of what would become more than a century of growth rooted firmly in the region. Bowker has grown into a major UK logistics operator, employing 635 people, running 265 vehicles and 500 trailers across 11 sites nationwide.
